Our own players boo'd over the years:

So with another thread about an Aussie player complaining about quitting over booing, we've had (even if a minority) fans boo some of our own players, but which ones do you remember? - I don't mean exd players coming back to Upton Park.

I'll start, from recent memory:

Luis Boa Morte
Frank Lampard (jnr)

Tommy Taylor was the first I remember being booed.

I think it was fordstar's Dad (the next Syd Puddefoot) who started it.

Titi Camera - three years with us, played only in 14 games - NO GOALS and he was on £20,000 a week!!!!!

Benni MacCarthy - another waste of space, not professional enough to be fit for the World Cup which was held in HIS OWN COUNTRY!!! AGAIN NO GOAL and he was on £25,000 a week!

I HATE THE PAIR OF THEM!!!!!

Opening match of the season following 1966 WC triumph we lost on a red hot day against Chelsea (1-0 I seem to recall)

Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst & Martin Peters were roundly booed at the end of the match

Bloke behind me when I was kid in the late 80's hated Tony Gale

Clyde Best - now a bit of a cult hero but back in the day he came in for an awful lot of stick.

Ron Greenwood an instigator of the "West Ham way", revered manager of our "golden age" was booed and banners unfurled "Greenwood Out".

It seems that nobody is immune.
